joins the firm as a Vice President in the Land Sales Group

McLean, VA, October 15, 2009–Fraser Forbes Real Estate Services, a full- service real estate firm in Washington, DC, announced today that Mark T. Boastfield has joined the firm as a Vice President in the Land Sales Group. Mark will be specializing in land brokerage primarily in the Maryland counties around Washington DC and Baltimore.
With over 33 years in the homebuilding and land development industry, Mark provides Fraser Forbes' clients the benefit of his experience and relationships built with industry leaders in the local real estate community, as he has worked for both large, public homebuilding companies, including Richmond American Homes, Pulte Homes, and Ryland, as well as several locally based homebuilding and land development companies. Boastfield has served as the head of Land Development for numerous builders over the last 24 years and has been involved in the acquisition of over 5,000 residential lots, and the physical development of over 3,000 lots in the Washington, DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas. Mark has processed many raw land entitlements through plat recordation, working with zoning attorneys, planners, and engineers, and subsequently, successfully managed land development budgets exceeding $40 million dollars.
