Fraser Forbes Company saw year-end land closings occur as planned with new home Builders/Developers getting back into buying land. CEO and Co-Founder Richard Samit said, "This past month [December 2006] painted a completely different picture for Fraser Forbes. Previously many of our planned closings had not been taking place for our sales team. In December our deals went according to schedule. This seems to be in response to the positive signs the builders are getting in the DC Metro housing market. The inventory of resale homes on the market is declining and new home sales contracts are rising."
